	South Jersey Legal Services provides assistance to individuals who cannot afford an attorney. They may be contacted at 1-800-496-4570 and will determine whether one qualifies for assistance. Criminal matters are handled by the Public Defender's Office. They may be contacted at 856-453-1571.
